We produce recycled granulate in a number of different colour ranges , this depends on the market application . We can also add master batch colorants to meet customer requirements.

J & A Young operates a strict quality control in accordance with its ISO 9001 accreditation.

Material can be tested for compliance and also to help in the development of new innovative materials. Polymers can typically be tested by the following methods:

• 1 Specific density
  Determines additives used in the material and if it is possible for it to be recycled.
• 2 Infrared spectrophotometer (IR-analyis)
  In the analysis of colourants.
• 3 Melt Flow Index (MFI-) determination
  Determines possible application of the material.
• 4 Lab-extruder
  Test quality of recyclate in particular visual properties and physical properties of the film.
